Horsefood Fibre Complete Mix

This newly developed by Van Gorp and field-tested roughage mix for horses is composed of high-quality raw materials that contain a lot of fibre. This mix contains no added grains. Some functional components have been added, such as fermented yeast cultures, linseed oil and fenugreek. To complete this mix, all necessary vitamins and minerals (trace elements) are present so that no concentrate or vitamin/mineral mix needs to be added. This way the animal has a complete ration without consuming too many kg.

Some features of the Fibre Complete-Mix at a glance:

• A practical solution for horses that eat poorly or too greedily. Due to the high proportion of crude fibre, the horse has to chew a lot. This causes more saliva to be formed, which better stimulates the horse’s digestive organs.
• Horses that are too ‘hot’ get all the necessary nutrients with this mix. At the same time, the energy supply is limited by the low starch content.
• The added yeast cultures convert the raw fibres better and more efficiently, which in turn has a beneficial effect on premature acidification of the muscles.
• The mix is ​​complete and contains all necessary vitamins and minerals in the correct proportion.
• The quality and composition of the Fibre Complete-Mix is ​​constant. This is a significant advantage compared to simple roughage such as grass, alfalfa, hay and straw.
• Linseed oil provides slow-release energy.
• The sugar content is low because there is only a small percentage of molasses present.
• A mixture without oats and barley.
